This project was aimed at comparing13 different building envelope scenarios for the same design of a 13-story tower building. For each new apartment, the hourly energy consumption, as well as the inside air temperature and other relevant parameters, were calculated for an operational year, using advanced whole-building energy simulation software tools and technical properties confirmed with laboratory test results. 

Using both the results of the technical evaluation for each scenario and the impact of the material selection on the initial & operational costs, a thorough economic evaluation was performed for the construction project as a whole, and for individual rental spaces as well.
